Lakeridge Estates — North Liberty, Iowa

After building and selling a custom two-story home near the Coralville Reservoir in Iowa City, these homeowners reached out a second time to builder Klosterman Construction and Emily Hughes to collaborate on a custom ranch style custom home tucked away on a private drive in North Liberty. Since it was their second time around building with this team, they had a clear vision of the elements they liked best from their prior home and wanted to include in the new design. They also had firsthand insight as to the little details that would enhance their new home and take it to the next level for stylish functionality.

Megan Courtney of Cabinet Style enhanced their kitchen design by taking the cabinetry to the ceiling and updating the finishes to the beautiful combination of Putty and Rock Bottom, with a slab backsplash and leaded glass cabinet insets.

Tiffany Meeker of Klosterman Construction collaborated with the homeowner to specify finishes, fixtures, lighting, and built-in details, while Emily collaborated on paint colors, wall coverings, built-ins, grout selections, tile layouts, furniture, and window treatment selection.

This was a true team effort during a time of many supply chain challenges, but all felt honored to be trusted by the homeowners to pull off results they would love a second time around.
